About us

The Trencin Church  began on January 2000 with the people who came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour in this vicinity. Their desire was to be a community of believers who live according to the Word of God and reflect God’s love in a real way.

Since the church was started, many more people, especially the young, came to know the Lord and became mature in faith. Some of them are now living abroad, and everyone is encouraged to serve God in a way that best corresponds to their gifting, wherever they are.

We maintain active contacts with Bible believing Christians and churches in Slovakia and other countries in the world. As a church, and as individuals, we are involved in many activities for the benefit of people living in our city and beyond. Some of these are described in this website.

We will be glad to welcome you in any of our worship services or at some of our events. We think that you will find our church to be one of the friendliest places that you have ever experienced.  If you find that to be true, and we hope you will, it is because we love the Lord Jesus Christ who paid with His life and blood to redeem us from our sins.
